In the twilight’s gentle embrace,
A child whispers with tear-stained face,
Where’s Daddy, with his loving smile?
His presence lost, a saddened trial.
Through rolling meadows and fields afar,
Searching for his guiding star,
Little footsteps lost in the haze,
Echoing a melancholic maze.
His laughter, once a joyous sound,
Now lingers as a ghost unbound,
In every corner, a lingering trace,
Of a father’s love, an empty space.
Whispered voices, hushed and mellow,
Reveal the pain this child must swallow,
In nights so dark, dreams become strife,
As they yearn for Daddy, back to life.
Oh, where’s Daddy, with his wisdom kind,
To soothe their hearts, troubled in mind?
In the embers of a dying flame,
They whisper his name, lost in pain.
Gone are the days of tender embrace,
When Daddy’s laughter lit up their space,
Now shadows dance beneath the moon,
And a child’s heart sings a mournful tune.
Yet memories, like golden threads,
Weave love’s tapestry inside their heads,
For Daddy’s essence will forever reside,
In the whispers of love, they won’t hide.
So, as they grieve and hope anew,
May the skies above grant them this view,
A star shining bright with love and grace,
Guiding them to Daddy’s embrace.
Where’s Daddy? A question lingering still,
Yet love’s eternal flame, they’ll fulfill,
In hearts united, they shall find,
His spirit eternal, ever entwined.
