ALL IS LOST

In the depths of despair, where shadows reside,
A soul stood alone, with tears in their eyes.
For life had dealt a cruel and crushing blow,
And left them adrift, with nowhere to go.

Once vibrant and whole, they now felt so small,
A universe shattered, as darkness did fall.
Gone were the laughter and whispers of love,
Replaced by a silence, a mourning thereof.

The loss of everything, a tempestuous storm,
Whispered echoes of voices that once were warm.
Their dreams torn asunder, like petals on wind,
Leaving emptiness echoing deep within.

The sun seemed to dim, the stars lost their glow,
As sorrow’s embrace wrapped around them, so slow.
The weight of the world pressed upon their chest,
A heaviness born from the absence of the best.

Every cherished memory, etched in their mind,
Now mingled with heartache, intertwined.
The laughter and joy that once filled their days,
Now a bittersweet ache, a poignant malaise.

The empty rooms echoed with ghostly refrain,
As they wandered alone, consumed by the pain.
The walls whispered secrets they longed to retrieve,
But silence held sway, and refused to relieve.

The world carried on, oblivious and blind,
While they struggled to mend a fragmented mind.
Every step forward was a mountain to climb,
As they grappled with grief, in the depths of their time.

Yet amidst the despair, a flicker of hope,
A tiny ember within, refusing to elope.
For strength lies within, even when all seems lost,
And resilience blooms, no matter the cost.

Through tears and through anguish, they began to rise,
Like a phoenix reborn, with fire in their eyes.
They gathered the fragments, each shattered piece,
And forged a new self, finding solace and peace.

The darkness receded, as light filled their soul,
A tapestry woven from sorrow and toll.
For in the depths of despair, they discovered their might,
And emerged from the ashes, reclaiming their light.

So let this be a tale of courage and grace,
Of hearts that mend, finding love’s warm embrace.

For even in loss, there is strength to be found,
And hope can arise from the barren ground.
