GRANDPA & ME

In a world brimming with tales untold,
Where memories gleam like treasures of old,
Let me paint a picture, a story of love,
Of days spent with Grandpa, my blessing from above.

With eyes full of wisdom, his presence divine,
His hands weathered by time, a quiet lifeline,
Grandpa and I would journey through ages,
Our hearts intertwined, across life’s pages.

In the meadows we’d wander, hand in hand,
With whispers of nature, a symphony grand,
He taught me the language of flowers so dear,
Their silent beauty, their tales I hold near.

As we sat by the hearth, flames dancing high,
His laughter echoed, reaching the sky,
His stories were woven with magic and grace,
Unraveling wonders, as his words embraced.

Through every verse, he’d ignite a fire,
Igniting my dreams, my soul’s desires,
With each shared moment, my spirit would soar,
Grandpa’s love, an eternal encore.

Though years have passed, and he’s no longer here,
His spirit lives on, in my heart, sincere,
For the memories we forged, the bonds we built,
Forever I cherish, his love never wilt.
Grandpa, my guide, my beacon of light,
Your presence lingers, forever in sight,
In the depths of my being, you’ll forever reside,

A soul so precious, a love pure and wide.

As the ink settles, and this poem finds it’s place,
I hope it stirs emotions, a gentle embrace,
For Grandpa and Me, a tale bittersweet,

A love that transcends, our heart’s still complete.
